Tja....
Love and Math: The Heart of Hidden Reality. Auf Facebook veröffentlichte er folgenden kritischen Beitrag im Hinblick auf die Ideologie des "Transhumanismus":
"We talk so much about extending our lives and so little about what it means to be alive. Do we even remember what it means to be alive? Every day I find a bunch of posts and links on transhumanism and AI in my FB newsfeed. And most of them are so depressing... I am all for using technology to cure disease and enhancing our abilities. But it's also so clear that we obsess "overcoming death" as a way to escape from Life, divert ourselves from looking inside. Carl Jung wrote, "Those look outside, dream. Those who look inside, awaken." What does it mean "to look outside"? It means connecting deeply to yourself, and all of your past experiences -- especially the painful ones -- without judging, without shame and guilt; to love yourself truly; to release those little boys and girls inside from the pain of their traumas... But we don't want to do this. So we go on and on instead about how wonderful it will be when we "upload our brains" onto machines. That's how we hope to escape pain... But you can't run from yourself. You are still here.
Against this backdrop, what a breath of fresh air, this new book from the wonderful writer, my friend and mentor Thomas Farber "Here and Gone" -- a look inside, fearless, profound, moving... Poignant "in your face" cover by Andrea Young sets the tone.. The infinity of Life revealed, much more powerful than any artificial constructs our mind creates to divert itself from what really matters. Thank you, Tom! I'll take THAT over any pseudo-scientific transhumanist mumbo-jumbo any day.

Das sind Worte, die mir nahe gehen - von einem der größten Mathematiker unsrer Zeit - der sein Herz und sein menschliches Antlitz durchblicken lässt.
"There's a secret world out there. A hidden parallel universe of beauty and elegance, intricately intertwined with ours. And it's invisible to most of us." (Edward Frenkel)

Er hat auch keinerlei Berührungsängste im Hinblick auf Spiritualität:
the space between | From Russia with love, math and spirituality
Math is, for him, “a narrative†of human endeavor that shares much with art, music and religion. For instance, he describes new mathematical insights as “revelations,†and the utterly unchanging truths of mathematical ideas are “nothing short of a miracle.†He also brings us into the spiritual mindset of mathematicians and physicists — many of them Jewish — who described the suddenly revealed inner workings of the universe with rapturous language. Einstein was famous for these pronouncements, writing that “some spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe — a spirit vastly superior to that of man.
More recently Murray Gell-Mann, who discovered the tiny particles called quarks, described their structure in Buddhist terms, while the Hungarian Paul Erdös, who believed God kept the most elegant proof of each mathematical theorem in “The Book,†described teaching a math class as “preaching[...]
The goal of this unified theory “uncovers and brings into focus mysterious patterns shared by different areas of math and thus points to deep, unexpected connections between them.†These different branches are like continents: While it used to take months to get from Europe to North America, it now takes hours. Soon, mathematically speaking, it might be instantaneous — with enormous implications for understanding the hidden heart of reality.â€
